Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Companion, a wedding planning workspace operated by companion-co ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using Companion, including by signing in with Google, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws of Singapore to use Companion.

If you use Companion on behalf of a couple or workspace, you represent that you have authority to bind all workspace members to these Terms.

Companion uses Google sign-in for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity that occurs under your Companion account.

Workspaces are shared environments. Content you add may be visible to other members of your workspace. You are responsible for who you invite and what information you share within a workspace.

You agree not to:

You retain ownership of the content you create or upload to Companion, including guest information, planning notes, and files.

You grant companion-co a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and process your content solely to provide and improve the service.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and share any content, including guest personal data, within your workspace.

Companion, including its design, branding, software, and documentation, is owned by companion-co and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets except as needed to use the service.

Companion is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Wedding planning decisions remain your responsibility. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet every planning need.

Companion is a planning tool, not legal, financial, or professional advice. You should consult qualified professionals for decisions that require expert guidance.

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of Singapore, companion-co will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or wedding-related outcomes arising from your use of Companion.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or SGD 100 if you have not paid any fees.

You may stop using Companion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service.

Upon termination, your right to access the service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Companion after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Companion will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
